SAILOR ATTACKED AT SHOTLEY, By Teloffraph—Press Association--Copyright London, November 1. The Local Government Board announces that a seaman admitted to tho Shotley Naval Barracks, Suffolk, on October 10, developed symptoms of pneumonia, and that when his sputum was examined plague bacilli was found. The source of infection has not boon ascertained. There has been no otucr case.

(Rec. November 2, 11.30 p.m.) London, November 2. The recovery of the plague patient at Shotley Hospital is doubtful. It is stated tliat the man cut his finger in skinning a rabbit, which was possibly infected.
