SHOOTS IN SELF-DEFENCE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyricht (Eeo. November 3, 1.5 a.m.) Sydney, November 2. A farmer named Broderick died at Goulburn from gunshot wounds, and his son has been arrested on a chargo of causing his death.

Broderick was drunk, and was assaulting his wife, when his son interposed. Broderick in his dying depositions stated that his son fixed at him in self-defence.
