HAWKE'S BAY.
Wairoa, November 1. Mr. Eustace Lane, Independent Labour candidate, spoke last night, and received a splendid Bearing. He had journeyed here by pack-track, via the back-blocks. He spoke for two hours, and made a good impression, particularly on the land question. The speech has greatly improved his chance of election.
