PALMERSTON DAY BY DAY.

(From Oar Special Correspondent.) Palmerston, October 31. At a meeting of the Jlanawahi Horticultural Society last night it was decided to hold the spring show on November 23 in tho Municipal Hall. Last year's prize schedule was adopted, with several minor alterations, and a few additions, tho latter including special classes for girls under ten and fifteen years of age. The Mayor (Mr. J. A. Nash) opened a bazaar in tho Empire Hall last evening, in aid of the funds of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic parish.
