Tiie Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward, has postponed his departure for the south and will remain in Wellington during tho next few days.

Sir James Carroll nnd the Hon. A. T. Ngata are remaining in Wellington for a few days.

The Hon. J. A. Millar will leave for Duncdin early next week.

The Hon. E. Mivonzio was confined to his hous3 yesterday by indisposition. Ho will ieavo for his electorate in a few (lavs' time.

Sir John Findlay will be in Auckland to-day, Hie Hon. T. Mackenzie in Taranaki, and the Hoii. D. Buddo in Christchurch.

Mr. H. Walker, for tho past fifteen years manager of the Wanganui "Herald" Company, has severed his connection with the paper, and goes to Ilawcra, having acquired a proprietary interest in Hie Hawera "Star." Mr. H. V. D\iigan succeeds him on the "Herald."

Mr. Field leaves for Aramoho by this morning's train, and will probably have to cancel his Otaki cloction campaign engagements for the present week. The meeting which was to liavo been hold at Otaki to-night has been abandoned.
