Y.M.C.A., OLD BOYS.
On Thursday evening a largo number of old boys were present at the first meeting held in tho Boys' Department rooms. Tho first part of tbo inciting was taken up with the election of the officers, which resulted as follows:—Religious, Messrs. R. Baker, E. Chartres, and J. Lennox; membership, Messrs. W. Wilson, H. Lay, C. Coate; social and games, Messrs. 11. M'Girr, A. Smith, and E. Roberts; and educational, Messrs. K. Barton, 11. Pat chett, and M. Hodge. After tho election of officers the meeting resolved itself into a social gathering, the following contributing items to the programme:— Messrs. C. Atkinson. R. Parton, H. Lay, H. M'Girr, and H. Patchctt. A series of games concluded a very enjoyable evening. The meeting will bo continued every Thursday, with half an hour Biblo study, or an address, this to be followed by a scries of indoor games by teams to be chosen by the four committees elected. Debate-, Shakespeare reading, and glco clubs will bo formed presently.
