Shortly after 8 o'clock last evening the new steamer Lord Loii.-:dalo arrived in the stream from Ke\v York, via ports and Auckland. KINI IN TROUBLE. At 6.30 on Saturday night, just when the collier Komata, from West-port, was passing Farewell Spit, the steamer Kini, which was in the vicinity, sent up signals of distress. On coming alongside the captain of the Koiuata ascertained that the Kini's tail shaft had broken. Tho disabled vessel dropped anchor, and the Komata stood by her all night. At 3 o'clock, on Sunday morning the Kini was takon in tow, and after a run of 16 hours, the vessels arrived in the stream shortly after 10 p.m. yesterday. Fine weather was experienced ail the way acrcra. The disabled. vessel remained in tho stream ail last night, and the Komata berthed soon after her arrival.
