" 9 FOE CRICKET AND WINTER GAMES. Tho City Reserves Committee made the following'recommendations to the City Council last night:—That the fees for the preparation and maintenance of cricket pitch-::;, rents of dressing sheds, etc., ou tho city reserves be altered as follow:— Match wickets.—lnitial preparation, £2 (present), £2 (recommended); maintenance, per month, £1 (present), £2 (recommended). Dressing sheds.—Kclburne Park (per club), £2 (present), £3 (recommended), including lockers; Basin Reserve. (Ave rooms), total rental, .£27 (present), ,£27 (recommended); Basin Reserve, winter clubs, £2 2s. (present), ,£2 2s. (recommended) . Fee for general training permits, 2s. Gd. (present), ss. (recommended), per season. Deposit on key, 2s. Gd. (present), 2s. Gd. (recommended). It was also recommended that, in lieu of tho previous recommendation of the committee to make a chargo of Gd. per head to all adult players of winter games on the city reserves, a charge of £a ss. per ground" per season should be made to the various unions, associations, etc., using same. Tho recommendations wero adopted.
