REV. K, S. GRAY TO PRIME MINISTER.
(By Tclecranb.—Press Association.) Christchurch, October 19. Tho Rev. R. S. Gray has telegraphed to tho Prime Minister as follows:—"Further inquiries confirm absolutely my telegram yesterday. Registrars aro acting on instructions that all names be restored. Registered letters failed to find 1536 persons in Christchurch South, 1200 in Avon, 1000 in Christchurch East, 009 in Riccarton. Christchurch North is in a peculiar position. The by-election delayed sending out notices of objection, and when general instructions camo to slop, tho purging letters were never posted."
