REDISTRIBUTION OF SEATS.
NEW SOUTH WALES MINISTER ATTACKED. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright (Rec. October 19, 0.55 a.m.) Sydney, October 18. After a three-hours' debate, the Legislative Assembly negatived a motion for adjournment to discuss the action of Mr. Holman, the Attorney-General, in placing a p'.an of the redistribution of seats before tho Electoral Commission. The inference was that Mr. Holman desired to influence the Commission in the interest of his party. The Premier pointed out that tlie Commission had asked for suggestions, and that Mr. Wade, Leader of the Opposition, had submitted several.
