Dunodin, October 13 A salo of Electric shares was reported on tho Stock Exchange to-day at 4s. 3d, MOUNT LYELL RETURN. By Telegraph—Press Association—CoDrricht Mclbourno, October 13. The Mount Lyell returns from September 7 to October 11, inclusive, show that 16,052 tons of ore was treated, including 24 tons of purchased ore. The converters produced 344 tons of blister copper, containing 340 tons of silver, 20,235 ounces of silver, and 511 ounces of gold. WAIHI GOLD MINING CO. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Auckland, October 13. Tho Waihi Gold Mining Company, during the four-weekly period ended September 30 crushed and treated 26.739 tons of ore for a return, of bullion valued at £49,084, compared with £70,373, the actual realisation of bullion won from 34,951 tons for the corresponding period of last year. The present return shows a decrease of £21,289. Live stock sales will be found on page 13 of this igsue.
