HOLY WAR PROCLAIMED
YEMEN TRIBES FLOCK TO COAST. (Eec. October 14, 0.10 a.m.) Constantinople, October 13. The Iman Yahya of tho Yemen has proclaimed a Holy War, and the Yemen tribes are flocking to the coast. Italy's command of the sea, however, renders tho proclamation nugatory. ITALIAN SAILORS CAPTURED. Rome, October 12. The Turks captured two Italian sailors at Massowah, the capital of tho Italian colony of Eritrea, on the Bed Sea. ITALIAN BOYCOTT. BEGINS AT TURKISH PORTS. (Eec. October 11, 0.10 a.m.) Constantinople, October 13. The boycott of Italian goods has begun at various ports. A Bulgarian steamer laden in Italy was not allowed to discharge here. GAGGING THE PRESS. RESENTMENT IN CONSTANTINOPLE. (Rcc. October 14, 0.10 a.m.) Constantinople, October 13. Tho refusal of a number of journalists to obey tho summons of a court-martial to answer charges of publishing articles against the Cabinet revealed the fact that the Grand Vizier authorised the criticisms published. The suspension of several papers has roused a feeling against the War Ministor, Shevket Pasha, for gagging the press. CONTRABAND OF WAR. DECLARATION OP LONDON OBSERVED. (Eec. October 14, 0.10 a.m.) Constantinople, October 13. The Government has declared cereals and preserved foodstuffs contraband of war. Flour is not mentioned. Although tho Porto has adhered to the Declaration of London, nevertheless tho Cabinet has decided to observe it with regard to neutrals and contraband.
