AKIUVALS BY THE KIA ORA, The Shaw-Kavill steamer Kia Ora, Which arrived from London, via Auckland yesterday, has on board, on account of the well-known E-omney breeder, Mr. .T. AY". Harding, of AVaipukurau, a stud Romnry ram, who-'C purchase price, was, we understand, 300 guineas. The ram is Etham 15 of tSOO, by Mr Charles File, tho famous English breeder of liomney Marsh sheep. ■ This.ram's successes'(it['English shows speak for themselves, and includo first prizes at the'follos'ing leading shows': - lOld:'East Kent,' Mid-Kent. Tunbridgo Wells. mi:. Bath and West, Royal Counties (first and champion), East Kent (first and champion), Mid-Kent, and reserve champion at the Royal. Just before sailing it ' also obtained first and champion at Tunbridge Wells. This ram is being landed through ''Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., Wellington, as also are a stud Southdown ram. on account of Mr. A., J. Stone-Wigg,.of.'Opaki, and a stud Romney Marsh ranr lamb, bred by Mr. Chas. File, on -account ol Mr. E. Short, Parorangi. Air. Stono-Wigg's ram was bred by Air. W. C. A'Dcane, of Babrahan, "Cambridge, and is by Babrahan Crony, first at the Royal Show, 1900-10, and tho dam is a Babrahan ewe, by Babrahan Coming Victor (first Royal Show, 1906, and siro of champion lambs nt Smithfield Show, 1007). - Several other district importations r arc also on board the vessel, which is still in' tW stream.
