DELAYED BY A MEMBER'S ILLNESS. Tho first meeting of tho reconstituted Jtacing Commission has been indefinitely delayed by the serious illness of one of its members. Mr. K. Sl'Vay, of Napier. Kir Gcorgo GliH'ord, chairman of tho commission, and Messrs. Jtowo and Nolan, ave in Wellington, but Air. A. Cohen, of Dunedin, has not yet arrived. Messrs. Albert Bruce (chairman of the Country K-acing Clubs' Conference) and llr. AV. T. Jennings, M.J'., have had a private interview with the chairman of the commission..
