Tho steamer Glasgow, a vessel of 1068 tons belonging to tho Eanliine line was disabled during tho storm, and the Hat; field, a Cardiff-owned steamer of 1753 tons, came to her assistance. Tho vessels fouled one another, and the Hatfield was so severely injured that she sank in seven minutes. With tho exception of one man, the whole of hor crew, was drowned. The Glasgow was afterwards .towed in fci Dover. Advices from Holland state that tho steamer Edward Dawson, 1907 tons gross, owned by the Lennards Carrying Company of Middlesborough, England, was stranded at Flushing, and afterwards caught fire. Five of those who were on board tho vessel are missing. A Gorman coasting steamer, the Gladiator, foundered at Ymuidcn, Holland. Three of the crew were drowned. A dredge foundered at the Outer Eides Lighthouse, off tho coast of SchleswigHolstein, in North Germany. The crew were drowned. HOW THE HATFIELD WAS LOST. VESSELS CRASH TOGETHER. CRec. October i, 0.15 a.m.) London, Ootober 3. Eighteen of the crow aboard the Hatfield were drownod. The captain of the Glasgow states that his vessel was lifted by a hugo wave and crashed upon the heavily-laden Hatfield, which sank in seven minutes. EIGHTY RIVER CRAFT WRECKED.

HAVOC ON DUTCH COAST. (Bee. October 4, 0.15 a.m.) Antwerp, October 3. Eight}' river craft have been wrecked in tho East Scheldt. The'entire fishing fleet al Bluinisho is missing. Many bodies and much wreckage are drifting in tho Scheldt. Many fishing boats foundered at Ostend.
