SKIM-MILK PAINT.
The following recipe for making skim milk paint is from the ".Scientific .Ameri-can":-—"Stir into one gallon of milk about tliT-ao pounds of Portland cement, and ndil sufficient Venetian red paint powder to impart n good colour. .Any other colour may be used in placo of thn red. jfix only as used, and keep thoroughly, ptirml. The milk will hold the paint in suspension, but unless, stirring is continued fret|U-;ntly. the cement, being heavier, will-settle to the bottom."
