FOR THE NEW ZEALAND FOKCES. A journal containing articles of military interest is to be compiled by tho Dominion section of the 1. Imperial General Stall' at headquarters, and published quarterly, states a. general order by Major-Gcaiorul A. J. Godiey, C.B. (commanding tho New Zealand Forces). In addition to notes on recent publications of military interest, nnd to' special articles on military questions, tlio New Zealand Military Journal will be open to voluntary contributions from officers en subjects of military interest, cither in the form of original articles or of notes on subjects dealt with in military publications abroad or ait home. Short notes, evoi of twenty or thirty lines, dealing wil'h mattes of military interest, mav also be submitted. No contributions mil ba paid for. All such contributions arc to bo written on one. sido of tho paper only, nnd aro to bo rigned with the name, rank, and corps or regiment of the author. It will rest with the general officer commuulmg bo decide whether tho name of tho author is (0 be published. Contributions not accepted will to returned. It is to bo understood that authors nlono will bo responsible for their contributions. Articles published in tho journal nro not to be considered as official, or as carrying Hie approval of the general officer cominaraling of tho views >:pt forth in them, unless expressly so stated. When exception is (akra to the opinions of an author, reservations will be niado as required.
