AN INTERESTING CAREER.
The Rev. Robert Fairbrass, pastor of Hampton Baptist Church (England), has had a somewhat unique experience. For nearly twenty-live years he was connected with. tlio London Police Force, rising to an advanced' position, and finally being appointed in charge of the district of Fulham, with its 150,000 inhabitants. During his servico he attended most of the great functions in connection with the visits of Royalty. He rendered meritorious service in connection with the Jubilees of Queen Victoria in 1837 and 1897, for which ho holds both the medal and bar. Ho also holds the Coronation medal of tho late King Edward. A third medal has been given him in respect of special duties performed in his former district during the Coronation festivities of King George. Only a score of retired officers, iu addition to about 1200 sergeants and constables, were thus honoured. Mr. Fairbrass thus holds medals showing that ho has served under three Sovereigns. Jlr. Fairbrass is experiencing at Bampton a repetition of his successes at South Mollon, and the church ovor which ho is pastor is rapidly improving in overv wav.
