About GO were present. 1" proposing the toast of "The Firm," which Ims now boon established Mime twenty years, and of which there aro two branches—one at Cuna Street and one a l . Newtown—Mr. Head niadc very complimentary reference to Mr. Campbell, and especially alluded to Ids personal interest in the welfare of his employees. Other toasts were:—"Tho Employees," proposed by Mr. T. Clwwin, and responded to by Mr. Crv.Jow and Mr. F. Read; "The Ladies," proposed by Mr. 0. Williamson, and responded to by Mr. Ifulbert; "Faces We Miss" (late emproposed by Mr. 11. ITorlor, and responded to by Mr. Wilson Smith; Our Host ami Hostess," propowxl by Mr. J. Donald, and responded to by Mr. Cani'i)bell. Durinu tho evenins a musical programme was e;iven. Those contributing were Mrs. Wilson-Smith. Misses MartSn and Jlewton, Messrs. Calvert. Mavall, Arch, Hulbert. Berry, Uibbv, ITorlor, P. Bead, Jones, M'Carlh.v, and D. Kenny.
