The second series of open air Ao-W----censs meetings was held in Petono on Saturday iiiffht. The Kev. G. Cotton was tho speaker. In a fancy costume hockey match, St. Augustine's Ladies v. the Men s Biblo Class, ct Pebno on Saturday, the ladies won Ijy 3 goals to 2. Tlio annnal football match, Petone Working Men's Club v. the local Junior Club, took place at Petone on Saturday. There was only a poor attendance, and .the Rate receipts, which aro in aid of tho Ambulance Wagon Fund, only amounted io a few shillings. Although play was of an even nature till near the end, tho Junior Club put on 1! points to the Working lien's 3. Tho Junior Club scorers were Wynynrd, Daley. Martin, and Miller I a try each, Ashton converting one). Capper kicked a penalty cc.'il for tho Working Men's Club. At the Lower Hut 1 . Court on Saturday morning, before Mr. G- A. Chapman. J.P..
