Lord Lonsdate objects to tho prizo fight owing to tho inequality between Johnson and Veils. ilo states that the contest i is on that account not a bona fido one. Johnson is getting and Wells which is, he states, a proof of their inequality. ■ ' Lord Stanhope, in a letter to "Tho Times," recalls a conversation with a Suva policeman, who stated -that there had been more tronblo in dealing with tho coloured race since the Johnson fight. IP WELLS IS BEATEN. Cape Town, September 22. Sir John Robinson has declared through the newspapers in South Africa that he will attend tho Johnson-Wells fight. He hopes Wells will win. If Wells is beaten ho will bo willing to give .£SOOO to any white man. Who can Johnson.
