DOMINION DAY.
THE CITY ARRANGEMENTS. Public celebrations in connection with Dominion Day will commence at 11 a-m. to-day, when the children attending tho various schools in the city will salu'.'o the (lag. The Prime Minister will address the pupils of the Terrace School. At 2.15 p.m. the senior cadets will march from the Garrison Hall, Buckle Street, to tho Newtown Park, where it is expco'-ed that at 2.-15 p.m. thero will be about 1500 cadets on parado. Special cars conveying members of Parliament will. leave ' tho Government Buildings at 2.20 p.m., arriving at, ; £e,wtown Park, at 3 o'clock, nnd the Prime Minister and party will reach the Park at the same hour! At 3.15 p.m. their Excellencies tho Governor and Lady Islington will arrive, and tho Governor Tsill then -review tho cadets- At 8 p.m. a. citizens' reception, presided over by the Mayor, will be hold in tho Town Hall. Lord and Lady Islington, Sir Joseph WoTd ami Lady Ward and members of both' Houses of Parliament will bo present. Short addresses will be given by his Excellency and Sir Joseph Ward, .and then a musical profrraiunio will bo rendered.
