Mails for Fiji closo at Auckland, per Waihora, to-day at 10.45 a.m.; also, per Kavna, at Auckland, on Wednesday, September 27, at 12.45 p.m. Mails tor the Commonwealth of Australia only, via Jlobart, per Uliraaroa, close at Bluff on Monday, September 25, at 3 p.m. Ou Monday, September 25 (Dominion Day), tlio Post Ollico will be open in all its branches (except Money-order Department) from 9 to 10 a.m. Maiis by steamers sailing on that day will close at 7.15 a.m. The only dispatches by trains will bo for the Wairarapa district, which will close at 6.30 a.m., and for tho Manawatu, W.mganui, Taranalsi, Ilawko's Bay, and Auckland districts, which will close at 7.15 a.m. There will not bo. any clearances of the city and suburban receivors; between 9 and 10 a.m. correspondence addressed to the l'ost Ollico only can be obtained from tho delivery counter, Chief Post Office, and during tho same time parcels, per narcels post, can bo obtained at the Drill Shed. One full delivery by letter-carriors will be made in the city and suburbs, closing at the Chief Post Office, Wellington, at 7.15 a.m. On Saturday, September 23, tho publie delivery counters at the Chief Post Office will bo open between 0 and 9 p.m. for delivery of all correspondence addressed to tVo Post Office, and articles per parcel post can be obtained at the Drill filled, Maginnity Street, between 0 and 9 p.m. on Saturday. Mails for Chatham Islands, per Jlimitangii close at Lyttclton, Tuesday, September 26, at 11 a.m. ■ Mails for Chatham Islands closo at Lyttclton, per Ilimitangi, On Tuesday, September 26, (it li a.m. Mails for Itarotonga'and Tahiti close at Auckland, per Talune, on Tuesday, September li, at 10.45 a.m. All books and sample packets and newspapers for places within tho Dominion must be posted half an hour before the ordinary letter moil closes. Unless otherwise specified, registered letters and parcels-post packages must bo handed in and money-orders obtained ono hour before tho ordinary mail closes. All tho principal mails by train and steamer closo at To Aro and Courtcnay Pla-e Post Olflcos at the same hours as ot tho Chief Post Office, with tho exception that tbero is no late-fee clearance. D.
