Tho report of the Feilding Eptp Circle, which was inaugurated in October last, states that, starting with a membership of 12, tho circlo has increased its list to ■JO. Ono hundred and twenty dozen eggs wore received in the first week, and there is now an average of 3:!0 dozen handled (luring tho year. Altogether, 3881 dozen eggs were received and disposed of, the total amount of money received being X 220 ss. This gives an averngo of Is. lid. per dozen for nine months for every month through the year. The prices paid to members were higher than those otferin« locally. Tho Boroitgh Council has decided to submit its electric-lighting proposals for discussion again by ratepayers before going to a poll.
