Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., roport having held their fortnightly stool: salo at Waipukurau yesterday, when they offered a sma.ll yarding of cattle and 19C0 sheop to a. large attendance. Prices, especially for hoggets, were higher than at previous sales. Cull hoggets, Bs.; lair to medium hosgots. 11s. to 12s. 10d.: good mixed-sex hogget*. 14s. Id.; fit wothorj, 16s. 6d.;- good forward store two to four-tooth wethers, 16s. Id.: small two-tooth owe.i and wethers. 123. 4d.; small two hoggets, 12s. lCd. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agnncy Co., Ltd. (Palmcrston North branch) report:—At Himatnnci, en Monday, wo had p. good entry of cattle, but only two pens of sheep come forward. Bidding was not tiuito so brisk an of lato sales, but a good clearance was effected. Sheep: Wether hosgcts, Its. 6i3.
