4 SEVEN-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT. The seven-a-side hockey tournament was resumed on Saturday. Of the eighteen teams which competed in tho first day's matches, seventeen teams took tho field, one team (Y.M.C.A.) defaulting. Considering the state of the elements, tho players showed good spirit by turning out so well. Tho following aro the results of tho games;— Section No. 1. Second Round.—Wellington A were defeated by United A by 3 goals to nil. Fourth Round.—K.Y.M.i. (2) defeated United A (0). Government Insurance (1) drew with Metropolitan (1). Wellington A (0) were defeated by Hutt A (1). Fifth Round.—United A (3) defeated Hutt A (2). Metropolitan (1) defeated K.Y.M.I. (4). Government Insurance (1) beat Wellington A (0). Section No. 2. Fourth Round.—Victoria College B (1) beat Hutt B (0). Wesley A and Wellington B drew, no score. Karori (0) drew with United B (0). Fifth Round.—Victoria College B (1) defeated Karori (0). AVesley A (1) defeated Hutt B (0). Wellington B (1) drew with United (1). Section No. 3. Third Round.—Wesley B and Greeg's drew, 110 score. St. Mark's (1) defeated Hutt C (0). Fourth Round. Wesley B won by default from Y.M.C.A. Victoria College A (1) defeated Hutt C (0). Gregg's (1) defeated St. Mark's (0). Fifth Round.—Gregg's won by default from Y.M.C.A. Wesley B (1) defeated Hutt C (0). Victoria Collego A (1) defeated St. Mark's (0). Teams Left in the Final. The following teams will play in the final round next Saturday. The handicap given to various junior leading teams in the tournament does not affect the position of leading teams in tho three sections—Government Insurance, United A, Wesley A, Woslev B, Victoria Collego A, Victoria College B. The positions of the teams after Saturday's games aro as follow:— Section I.—Government Insurance, 8 points; United A, 7 poiuts; Hutt A, G; K.Y.M.J., 3; Metropolitan, 3; Wellington A, 3. Section 2.—Wesley A, 8 points; Victoria College B, 8 points; Wellington B, 5 points; Karori, 1 points; United B, 3 points; Hutt B, 2 points. Section 3.—Victoria College A, 9 points; Wesley B, G points; Gregg's, 5 poiuts; St. Mark's, 4 points; Y.M.C.A., i points; Hutt C, 2 points.
