Tho London dockers' striko of 1889, which ended on September 18 of that year, was followed a month later by strikes of schoolboys for shorter hours and fewer lessons at llawick, Dundee, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Greeuock, Kdinburgh, Cardilf, Liverpool, Leeds, Port of Loudon, Northampton, Brighton, and other places. ! __________
