At the weekly stock sale at Addiiißtoii there was an average atendanco, and, with the exception of the fat-and store sherap sections, the stock entries wero about the same as at lat= sales. With. regard to the increased yardinjr of fat anil store fihecp. there wa3 unusual interest taken m tho sales of these classes, and th« etoro market was decidedly brighter Store sheep: All classes were well represented, and the entry consisted of about oqual proportions o£ owes, wethers, and hospets. Tho demand was firmer than at last week's sale for all sorts, but no actual advances on late rates can be recorded. Dunedin, September 13. At Burnside to-day 193 fat cattle were yarded, a large proportion of which were very prime quality. The sale was uneven throughout, and, except for prime beavyweights, the market was weaker by 55.. and occasionally 10s., per head. Prime bullocks. £11 10s. to £12 IC-s.: extra heavy, to £15 5;.; medium to good. £8 10s. to £10 10s.; light. £6 ss. to £7 155.; prime cows and heifers, £7 15s. to £9; medium, £6 to £7 55.; inferior, £5 to £5 15s. Fat shsep: There was a moderate yarding, 2709 being penned, chiefly wethers. Although these were mostly a useful quality of sheep, they were not extra heavyweights, and tho yarding generally was below the average. Several northern buyers were present, and there was keen competition for best lines, which sold at an advance of Is. to Is. 6d. on last week's rates.
