—. " GENERAL AGREEMENT AS TO DOCTRINE. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright Melbourne, September 13. Archbishop Clarke has officially announced thnt a conference of the Anglican, Presbyterian, Methodist, and Congregational Churches has arrived at a general agreement on the subject of doctrine, which points to tho possibility of union so far as that is concerned. Tho subject of Church government and policy was discussed, but deferred for further consideration.
