(By Telegraph— Press Association.) PALMERSTON-WHAT CAR SYSTEM? Palmerston, September 12. At the adjourned meeting of tho Borough Council to-night, it was decided to secure the services of Mr. Wyllie, city electrician of Auckland, to give estimates both for the overhead trolly and Edison storage battery system for electric cars for Palmerston. HARD-WORKED JUDGES. Dunedin, September 12. Owing to Judges in the north requiring assistance badly in consequence of absence of Mr. Justice Cooper, and the criminal business in Auckland occupying so much time, Sir Joshua Williams leaves for Wellington on September 23, a week before the Appeal Court meets.
