Zealand frozen and other produce, i Evidence- of this was furnished in a letter received by Mr.. W. A..Boddoe. tho Canadian Trado Commissioner, from Mr. J. R. Miller, representative at Prince Rupert, B.C. of Patrick Burns"aud Co., Limited, tho biggest nieat distributors in Canada. In this letter Mr. Miller, who' paid a visit to New Zealand last year, said ho considered there was no doubt that New Zealand routlon. would find a place in tho Western Canadian market, a.nd added that his company was now building a very largo addition to its Vancouver cold storage. ' ' Mr. Beddoe has now received a personal letter from Mr. D. Burns, one of tho principals of tho same firm, on tho samo subject. In his letter, Mr. Burns states: —"Homo days ago wo received your kind letter of May 15, ■addressed to our Mr, J. R. Miller, at Prince Rupert, 8.C., in reference to tho samples of Now Zealand mutton, which Mr. Miller brought over with him. Wo consider it a very fino quality, and that when the time comes, when New Zealand will havo a direct transportation service, there should be a great business done between pur coast cities and your country. We, ourselves expect to bo iu a position to handle quantities of all kinds of meats and produce, if prices hold as they havo been in tho past few years."
