MITCHELLTOWN STATE SCHOOL.
ANNUAL CONCEKTS. The annual concerts of the Mitchelltown State' School were held oil Thursday night and last night. The school was presented with photographs of the late King and tho present King by Atr. H. Mitchell, who also donated a substantial cheque towards tho school funds. Tho Central Mission Band assisted by playing selections before and during the concert. The first item on the programme was a dialogue, in which tho following parts' were taken:—Fairy Queen, Kita Goetzlof; Captain Soot, George Ridley; Secretary, George Wonnocott; Wag, Harold Sarlit; Doctor, Fred. Biel; Queen's Secretary, James M'Arthur; Baron Hairbrush, C. Edwards; Lord Bootlace, H. Burcli; Lady Soapsuds, Isa Clarke; aud Lady Nailbrush, Gladys Turpin. Other items were:—Chorus, Lower Pupils; song, Elsie Rhodes; song, Geo. Ilidley; chorus, Lower Pupils; clwrus (interrupted), Black Brigade; song, F. Biel; drill, Lower Girls; recitation, R. Hampton; chorus, Upper Pupils; song, W. Edwards, S. Petersen, and H. liidlsy; chorus, recitative, E. Luke; chorus, Lower Pupils; cadet drill; chorus. Upper Pupils; song, L. Rhodes; song, Ellen Lulce; recitation, Ellen Luke; song, A. Edwards; song, Stella Biel; chorus, Upper Pupils; song, A. O'Neill.and M. Olausen; song, Hone Ridley; song, Cissy Hook; song, Ellen Luke; song, Ellen Jtonkhouse; dance, E. Monkhouse, F. Luke, I. Bowden, and ,T. Hampton; song, Cecil Petersen; song, D.
