LIFE INSURANCE MATCH. , ■A team from the Government Life Insurance Department met a team from tho combined: Life Insurance Offices in a Rugby match at the Athletic Park 'yesterday. The match resulted in a win for tho combined team by 13 points to 3. For the winuers Macbeth, Wilson, and Turner scored tries, and Chant nnd Bridge converted one each. Sturrock scored the try for the defeated team. OTAGO REPRESENTATIVES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Oamaru, August 31. The Rugby match Otago v. North Otago was played to-day in fine weather, when the loca linen suffered defeat by 3D points to T. Tho match was very one-sided, the visitors being too strong for tho locals in all departments of tho game.
