The first Northern Union game in South Taranaki was played hero to-day between Taranaki. and Nelson. Fine weather prevailed, with a fresh cross breeze. The ground was in capital order. Taranaki, attacking, strongly, had Hie best, of the game throughout, the final scores being: —Taranaki, 1G points; Nelson, 8. At halftime the scores were:—Taranaki, 10points; Nelson, 3 points. . -
