LIVE STOCK SALES.
Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Toport on their Otalti sale, held yesterday, as follows :-Wo Had a full yarding of both sheep and cattle. The eh?ep consisted principally of good hoggets, which showed a marked rise in price. Ca,ttle consisted mostly of springing and empty heifers. We quote:—flood ewe hoggets, lte. 6d.; cull hoggets, 3s. lid.; wethers. 14s. 3d. Cattle: Springing heifers. £7, £6 10-.; empty heifers, £3 55.; ycavling heifers, £2 2s. 6d., 245.; 16months heifers, £2 18;. 6d.; forward cows, £5, £3 10s.
