The directors had bean paying to suppliers just as much as ivas rewivod for the butter, less expense?, etc. The prospects of the coming seis'iu iverc bright, lie had askfd.the directors to'co-operate with him and. sell this reasonV output f.0.b.. WeHinifton, and he was sure they would get good prices. The directors vliould undoubtedly receive IOJiL per lb. for the butter. They had Void a fair amount, of butter locally, in different parts of the North Island; and received (food prices except from Wellinglon. One ■Wcllinston firm last winter kept tho price of butter down to Is. per lb. for two months, which, was a considerable loss to the union. He was sure they would again do well with the local consumption.
