Mr. Lusk, a veteran automobilist, was travelling nt a speed of sixty-five miles an hour at Elgin, Illinois, ■ when his machine cost a tire. Lush was thrown out. Jacobs, the mechanician, was killed outright. Thirty persons were taken to Ilespit.ll as the result of yesterday's collapse of tho grandstand at Elgin.
