TO-DAY'S DINNER.
(Specially written for The Dohikion.) TUESDAY. Lentil soup. Marinaded steak. Potato chips. Cabbage. Fruit tart. Cream. PLAIN LENTIL SOUP. One pint of lentils, 1 onion, 1 carrot, celery (if liked), t pints of stock, pepper and salt to taste, a little mint or sage. Wash tho lentils; preparo and slice the vegetables, simmer all until tender in the stock, about 1 hour. Rub through a sieve. Boil up and season. Servo fried bread cut into dice with. it. FOE TO-MORROW. One bundle of leeks. Leg of mutton. Celery. Apricot jam.
