Garibaldi's grand-daughter Italia.Garibaldi is a Methodist Episcopalian. S'ho has been clioscn by the Italian Conference of ihat body as one of its representatives to the general, conference of the denomination at Minneapolis next May. Ten years ago, as a very independent young lady of Ffteen, Italia Garibaldi "travelled alcne in America, entered t'he Woman's College at Baltimore, and stayed there to complete her education. Then sho took a course 111 tho Jlilitary Ilospital at Ranis, and received a Eod Cross nurse's diploma. Since thea she has busied herself in Red Cross work and ItaliAn mission Sunday schools. In the spring of this year she toured the United Suites lecturing 011 her grandfather's lifi\ and iva.s welcomed enthusiastically everywhere for his sake. In appearance she is described ns a blonde of Northern Italian type, with a quiet and serious »ut winning manner.
