MR. CODY IN DIFFICULTIES. By Telegraph—Pnesa Association—Copyright London, August 2i. While aeroplaning on Laffaa's Plain, near Aldershot, Mr. S. F. Cody's petrol tank broke from its fastenings. Tho aviator with his right hand prevonted it from falling, aud than steered left-hand-ed for twenty miles, landing safely. ST. LOUIS-BOSTON FLIGHT. New York, August li. Mr. Harry Atwood, the aviator, who flying from St. Louis to Boston, via New York, has reached a point a hundred aud thirty-four miles distant. His aeroplane caught in a tree while he was descending.
