At the coursing mectins to-day the first rounds of the Waterloo Plate and Water, 100 Pnrso were run, ami.the third round of trie Waterloo Cup. The hares wero very keen, and out of ten event? six "no courses" wro declared. The following are the results:— Waterloo Purse.—Pleasant Surprisj heat HoacHiplit; Yaro beat Polar Star; Daylight beat Slippery Nell i Kilpour beat Gold Quartz; Champion Proof beat Amber Tins; Fog Horn bot llason; Cardiff beat Talebearer; Lifeline beat Romany La<s; Lord Cardiff beat Duke; Esperanto Star beat Pluto. Waterloo Plate.—Queen of the Belle beat Respite; Cumbersome beat Victoria; Curiosity beat Black Dart; British Grenadier, an accidental bye; Dawn beat Niffbtshift.
