POSITION OF THE CHURCH.. ' By Telegraph-Press Association-CoDyrlght . (JWc. August 21, 11.30 p.m.) London, August 24. The Archbishop of Canterbury (Dr. Davidson), in reply to a correspondent, has 9:iid that the question was whether the Parliament Bill should pass immediately or a few weeks hence after tno House of Lords had been flooded with new Peers. He denies that v tho Bishops' vote is likely to,promote the speedy disestablishment of the Church, and state that he believes the exact contrary to ba true.
