SEVEN-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT. The fii-st day's games of the soven-a-sido tournament were played under the best weather conditions 011 Saturday. Twentyfour matches were played, but owing to shield matches and the ladies' tournament Clio ground'- will not ho available until September IG, when tli? tournament will bo continued. Messrs. M. Tho senior and junior representatives held a. practice garni at Day's Bay on Saturday, the former winning by 5 goals to nil.' Tho. s.cortrs were Miss Dement (4) and Miss Shearer. Mr. J. W.
