Levin and Co. stating they had inadvertently mentioned shearing instead of sheep classes when forwarding a letter dealing with their promised cup. It would lie quite .satisfactory to them if their clip was allocated to somo competition in a sheep class. . The Department of Agriculture wrote ,in reply_to the society's letter regarding jthc appointment of veterinary snrgeons as /inspectors of stock.

The "Govei-n-Unent had tried to get vets., but it was i found difficult to do so. 1 The, report of the Ground Committee, ; considered by tjie General (Committee:, was brought on for disposal, jit was recommended in the report that | -£100 bo spent in improving the pig pens, fjnaking better provisions for dairy stock, [.etc. I The report was adopted. j The committee decided to draw up a iprize list allowing for the expenditure of over £1000 in prizes and trophies at the .inoxfc show.
