AVIATOR COVERS 500 MILES. By Telecraph—Press Association-Copyrleht New York, August 17. Mr. Atwood, tho aviator, has accomplished 500 miles of the ouhvard journey of his flight from St. Louis to Boston. The aeroplane beat express trains several times. Mr. Atwood was obliged to abandon carrying a passenger, as when tho aeroplano was rising it brushed against a tree, Vho passenger falling to the ground. A MONOTONOUS VOYAGE. (Rec. August 19, 1 a.m.) New York, August 13. Mr. Atwocd, tho aviator, covered 120 inilea on Thursday, en routo from, St. Louis, to Boston. He declared that he almost went to sleep with the monotony of tho journey.
