ALLEGED THEFT AT A DANCE.
TERRITORIAL TO BE CHARGED. It is alleged that, at a "social" held in the Masonic Hall, Berhampore, last Wednesday night, a number of thefts were committed. Persons who attended tho dance hung their coats up in the passage, and when it was over they iouuel that gloves and mufflers had been removed from the pockets. ' The-matter was , reported to the police, and last evening Acting-Detective Mason and Constable Taylor arrested a territorial on a charge of stealing the above-mention-ed articles.
