TRIAL MATCH TO-DAY. Tho Wellington representatives will meet a strong team of local players in a practice match at tho Basin Reserve this afternoon. Tho representative team—elected after tho trials last Saturday—includes tho following:—Bowen, O'Leary, Canty, King, Jonej, Hutton, Loughnan, Bragg, Fama, Leydou, Renkin, and Forbes. Emergencies, Lee, Hubbard, and Diiignan. The team to meet the representatives to-day was elected by Mr. Jantko last evening, and is a particularly formidable one. It is as follows:—Thomas, Morau, Rurid, Meyer, Jordan, Andrews, Renkin, Montgomery, Vorschaffolt, Hubbard, Lee, and Grant. Emergencies: Comrie, Quinn, and Scddon.
