LICENSING FEES.
A NEW SCALE GAZETTED. A new scale of fees under tho .Licensing Act of 1008 was gazetted on August 10, and will conio into force pn September 1. In tho old list of fees there were somo vjieertainties. The old scale was gazetted under tho Act of ISBI, and, as thcro have been many Licensing Act changes since thou, revision was necessary. Things have arisen under tho licensing Changes for which there was no provision in tho scale. • , ''.' Tho alterations are described as ' rcalih" revisions to mako for clarity"; mad it is said that the officers should experience less umoertainty in the matter of precisely what fee to levy.
