POST OFFICE FOR KILBIRNIE.

HEADY FOR OPENING. The new Kilbimie post office is now practically complete, and will be opened on Friday afternoon by the Acting-Post-master-General, the Hon. T. Mackenzie. It is a handsome two-storied brick building, measuring 33ft. by 30ft., with gable ends and cement facings, and is .situated on the corner of the Scatoun and Lyall Bay Roads. On the first floor there is a public office, .telephone oxchange, postmaster's office, mail-room, and a strong-room, while the second floor will lie used entirely by the postmaster for residential purposes. Messrs. Sanders Bros., builders and contractors, of Ingestre, Street, are the builders, the contract price being .£1407.
