A JERSEY RECORD.
A Canadian championship which will take a good deal of beating is held by a Jersey cow, Eofalind of Old Basing, owned by Mr. C. A. Julian-Sharman, of Red Deer, Alberta. On May 23 last this beast completed a second consecutive year's official test. Tn her year's official test-, February 25. 1009, to February 2-1, 1910. she gave - 10.S701I). milk, average test 5.37 per cent, fat, 729.091b. of butter. SO per cent, fat. In tho second year, May 2i, 1910, to May 23, 1911, she gave 11,27G}11). of milk, average lest 5.3 per cent, fat, 715.027 11). of butter of SO per cent. fat. In tho two seasons she produced a total of 22.1471b. of rai!k, and H"4.71b. of butter. This is a higher record for butter than any other cow, of any age or breed, in Canada.
